Senior Citizens day – Maryvale Convent, Kinnigoly

On 26th of July, 2015 the sisters of Maryvale community kept up the day of senior citizens. Sisters above 70 years and two maids working in the Convent as well as Hostel, were greeted and honoured by the sisters of the community. On 24th eve an hour of prayer was conducted praying for these senior members of the community. On 26th noon a grand meal was arranged in their honour and on the same eve a short cultural programme was organized to felicitate and appreciate the contribution of these sisters. Ms Dulcine and Ms Tresa were honoured and thanked for their long service in the Convent as well as in the hostel. Sister Superior and her councilors felicitated them with shawl, garland, flowers , fruits and gifts.
