Environmental Day was celebrated in Madeleine PU College, Mulki to make the students aware about environmental issues. All the staff and students gathered around the trees with coloured ribbons and symbolically tied them around the trees and 35 saplings which were planted on Vanamahothsava day. It was Rakhi day in Indian terms. The students embraced the trees in the campus and expressed their love for nature.
In her message, Sr Jessy Rita BS the Principal encouraged the students to actively participate in the celebration as well as become an active agent in developing environmental safety measures.
She called on them to make their nearby surroundings safe and clean to enjoy a safer, cleaner and more prosperous future.
