“To be in his presence was a sheer bliss”. August 25th was a memorable day to all the ten virgins of Madeleine convent Mulki. We the sisters of our community set aside a day of prayer to be spent in the holy ground of Bethany. A beautiful day began with a highest form of prayer –‘Eucharist’ celebrated in St. Padre Pio chapel at Bijai celebrated by Fr Jowar Cap at 9.00am. Strengthened by the meal of Love and having received the special blessings of the ‘Year of Mercy’ we set our feet on the Holy ground.

There we were warmly welcomed by the superior Sr Leena & Community. We spent our time in prayer & solitude in Bethany Mother House chapel & adoration chapel with a spirit of an attitude of gratitude.

As we spent our time in Founders cottage the cradle of his thoughts in reflection & prayer where Fr. Founder moved lived & suffered. It was  indeed a moment of sheer bliss for each one of us. As we gazed at each article placed drew us to the feeling of ecstatic as if supernatural spirit overshadowing us. After the lunch with the concluding hour of prayer we ended our day. At 2.30pm we paid our tribute to our beloved Founder at his grave in Bendoor Church. Thus we concluded our pilgrimage at 2.45pm praying for the twofold spirit of our beloved founder.
