The old building that housed the Shubhada Short stay home for women in distress for decades, received a face-lift after the renovation and for anyone it would be difficult to believe the transformation! On September 3,2016 this new renovated building was blessed by Fr Pius Fidelis Pinto, the Parish Priest of St.Fransis Xavier Church, Ferar and inaugurated by Sr Rose Celine BS, Superior General ( The sisters of little flower of Bethany). The presence of Sr Cicilia Mendonca (The Provincial Superior of Magalore Province ,General Councillors and the Sisters of brought added joy to the occasion. Ms Olinda Periera , Ms Celine Aranha the great social workers , Dr Christopher Pais, Mrs Irol Pais, sisters from different communities and our neighbours and well wishers brought added joy to the occasion.
During the short felicitation programme that followed Mr Lawrence Cutinha the Engineer ,Mr Maxim Correa the Contractor and his team of workers were thanked. While Sr Cicilia Mendonca the provincial superior of mangaluru province welcomed one and all, Dr Christopher Pais and Mrs Irol Pais was hounoured by Sr Rose Celine, Sr. Cicilia Mendonca Hounoured Sr. Rose Celine. Sr. Rose Celine address the gathering and Sr. Anna Marie proposed the vote of thanks respectively.
We thank our God Almighty for blessing Bethany with this beautiful spacious renovated structure, which has Shubhada society .
