"Gratitude is the Memory of the Heart". Bethany Scholarship Beneficiaries’ Day was organized on 30.01.2017 at 2.30 pm at Bethany Provincialate, Vamanjoor under the leadership of Rev. Sr Cicilia Mendonca BS the Provincial Superior of Mangalore Province. 62 students who are benefiting from such provision were present for the programme.
At the outset, Sr Cicilia Mendonca BS Provincial Superior and the Corporate Manager of Bethany Educational Society, Vamanjoor in her keynote address said that each person is unique. She asked the students to cultivate values in life, show respect to parents, teachers and help all. She further said that they have an obligation to study hard and scale high in life. She also reminded them of their responsibility of educating some poor students in the future when they are well placed in life
Thereafter Sr Sybil BS the Treasurer, Bethany Educational Society Vamanjoor showed some glimpses of Bethany’s birth, vision, goal and core values through the Power Point presentation, held group discussion. Two students shared their experience and thanked the donors.
Sr Dimpna BS, St Raymond’s Convent compered the programme and Ms Anitha student of Little Flower High School proposed vote of thanks for the organizers. At the end, refreshments were served for everyone. With grateful hearts, everyone returned to their homes.
