An orientation programme for teachers was conducted at Bethany Primary English Medium school Humnabad by the resourceful person Rev Fr Sathish Paul. Sr Bertina the correspondent and Sr Reena the Headmistress were present.Fr. Sathish Paul at the very start spoke on the uses of Soft skills, Communicative skills and mass media. He encouraged the teachers to use various means and methods to make the teaching effective and creative.
In his key note address he adressed “ A teacher is a mother, a guide and also friend to the student”.Sr Florine Jyothi explained about the importance of BES core values through power point. She also demonstrated to the newly come teachers continuous comprehensive Evaluation method (CCE).A short Film was shown based on the relationship between teacher and the student which made us to understand how a teacher can bring out the best from a student who was named worst in the class. Indeed it was an eye opener for all the teachers.
