November 12th was a special and unique day for our Mangalore Province as we celebrated domestic helpers day and gratefully acknowledged their loving and valuable services. The celebration commenced at 10.00am by invoking God’s blessings. There were 73 domestic helpers from different communities of the Province and from Bethany Mother House. Sr Jasintha DSouza welcomed the gathering. Sr Cicilia Mendonca the Provincial Superior of Mangalore Province addressed the gathering and appreciated and thanked them for their selfless services to our communities & their willingness to come over here.
Sr Rose Celine addressed the gathering and thanked them for their generosity in serving our sisters. She appreciated for their love, care and concern towards our sisters. She encouraged them to pray for themselves, for their families & for Bethany family at large. She realized the presence of long standing workers Sushil & Nilima. Each one was given a Rosary by Sr Rose Celine. Few of them presented cultural programme which kept us all happy. Sr Cicilia Mendonca appreciated all for their beautiful performances and presented them a small gift. They were served with delicious meal. It was a great day and we enjoyed to the full with our domestic helpers.
