The school annual day of Maryvale Pre-Primary and Higher Primary School, Kinnigoli was held on Friday, December 15. It was celebrated with great zeal, enthusiasm, vibrancy with colourful events. The main importance was given to the KG students and the KG colours day was kept up. The programme commenced with cultural dances and drama by the KG kids. Indeed it was colourful with their tiny steps. Sr Divina BS the correspondent of Maryvale Schools, was the president of the day. Mrs Ida F Patrao PD Office and Freelancer the chief guest of the function, Ms Akshatha Poojary Weight Lifter, National Awardee the chief guest of honour, Deepak Rodrigues PTA vice-president and members of the managing committee.Sr Nisha DSouza the head mistress welcomed the gathering with aroma of welcome. Sr Divina the president of the day spoke addressing the parents by laying importance on three things which Pope Francis speaks. Their parents should take care in seeing who is providing their children entrainments? Who is freely and eventually entering their rooms of with media? And with whom are they spending their time?Mrs Ida F Patrao the chief guest spoke saying inculate the competitive spirit in the children. Children need to learn from their teachers motivation, take guidance in order to excel in life. Ms Akshatha Poojary told the student to work hard till they reach their goal. Do not give up and they will be successful. Students were awarded for their great achievements in various activities of the year. Master Nolan DSouza SPL proposed the vote of thanks to all the gathered. A cultural bonanza followed. Vibrant students of the school presented an array of cultural programmes with colourful dances and skit.
