January 12th was a memorable day to the inmates of Rosa Mystica Novitiate, Kinnikambla, as we celebrated Novices’ Day 2018. It was preceded by the novena, during which each novivce was prayed for. It culminated with the Eucharistic celebration offered by Rev Fr Biju OP, thereafter a short cultural programme was organized. SrCiciliaMendonca the Provincial Superior of Mangalore Province was the president, Sr Juliana Monis the superior of Rosa Mystica Convent was the chief guest. The presence of SrRoshel, the assistant Provincial Superior, SrMariola, the Provincial Councillor, fathers from SnehaSadan, Sisters from Jeevadhan, community Sisters and the hostel Children added joy and encouragement. Novices enacted the life of Blessed Sr Rani Maria in a befitting manner; It stirred the spirit of the audience with the zeal for the Lord and love for the poor. Sr Sharon the Novice Directress welcomed the gathering, Anju and Dapni compered the programme,Airiza and vinisha proposed vote of thanks. Srs Cicilia and Juliana appreciated the novices for their good performance and invited them to imbibe the spirit of Bl. Rani Maria and our Founder Mnsg Raymond Mascarenhas. The programme came to an end with a fellowship meal.
