One of the most anxiously awaited occasions is College annual day. Great excitement and hurried activities were visible all around. Those who had to participating in the cultural programme were especially elated. Even those who were not actively involved were also excited to have a study-free day in school, filled with fun, frolic and amusement.

It was 6th of December 2013, Friday, whole lot of excitement, happiness, elation was found on the faces of the principal, staff and students.  The campus was decorated with colourful buntings. The guests Rev. Sr M Christella BS, Education Coordinator, Mangalore Province, Rev. Fr Ajith Menezes, Asst. Director, St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor, Mr Eric Correa, Managing Trustee Souhardha Foundation, Mangalore and Mr Bhojaraja, Drama and Cinema Artist, Vamanjoor arrived in time and they were escorted to the hall by the college band. There at the entrance they were welcomed according to the Indian custom with “Poorna Kumba”. Students performed their variety of talents on stage and entertained their parents and guests. Rev. Sr M Christella BS in her presidential address thanked the parents for sending their children to St Raymond’s and she appreciated their presence on that day. She brought to their realization their responsibility in the growth of their teenagers. Rev. Fr Ajith Menezes appreciated the hard work of the Principal, staff and the discipline of the students. He said that every child has the potentialities within oneself and it needs to be nourished and developed. Mr Eric Correa, the Pingara award winner spoke on values that the present teenagers need to cultivate in them. He congratulated the Bethany sisters for educating the rural poor.   Mr Bhojaraja also appreciated the excellence of the institution in Vamanjoor.

Sr M Cecilia D Souza BS the principal welcomed the gathering. Mr Edward Pereira PTA Vice-president and the Heads of the Campus institutions were Present. Mrs Geetha, Lecturer in Physics proposed the Vote of thanks. Mr Harishchandra Acharya Lecturer in Kannada, compeered the programme.
