Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese was on his pastoral visit to St Lawrence Church Moodubelle on 17.11.2014. On this occasion, he visited us - the Sisters of the Community - at Loretto Convent. His presence was indeed a source of blessing to all of us. He took this opportunity to offer the Eucharistic celebration in the Convent Chapel at 06.30am con-celebrated by the Parish Priest, Rev Fr. Joswey Fernandes and Rev Fr Raj. After the Mass, the Bishop spoke to us on the growth and stagnation in Spiritual Life. Addressing us he stressed on the importance of prayer in the life of a Religious. He further said that it is necessary to go back to the charism and spirituality of the Congregation and to imbibe the spirit of our Founder especially in loving the poor and the marginalized as we have taken the Cause of our Founder for Beatification. The meeting ended with breakfast in the gracious presence of our Bishop and other priests.
