December 6th Sunday was a beautiful dawn wherein the ocean of sisters from 32 communities, candidates and pre-novices joyfully flowed to the heart of the Bethany Provincialate Vamanjoor to celebrate solemnly the Mangalore Province day.
The day began with words of welcome by Sr Christella BS, the Assistant Provincial Superior and was comprised of Key note address by the Provincial Superior Sr Mariette BS, an exhortation on Laudato-si and Extraordinary Year of Mercy by Fr Praveen Pinto OCD. The Eucharist celebrated by Fr. Praveen, a family meal and a lovely and lively cultural programme by the young and old sisters of the Province. The presence of Sr Lillis BS and Sr Rose Celine BS enhanced our joy.

To celebrate our love and togetherness
It was a day so beautiful
Every event of the day was very meaningful
A day to praise God, sing, dance, wonder, appreciate and be joyful
A call to reflect, renew and be merciful
Our Provincial Superior expressed gratitude and appreciation to all
To become the face of Jesus to people was her call
Fr. Praveen invited us to be care takers of creation
And to become persons of vision, mission and transformation
