It was our immense joy to inaugurate the Bethany Lay Association on the feast of Immaculate Conception and the beginning of the year ‘The Face of Mercy’.
The programme stated at 5.00 pm in the evening, with Bethany Anthem, after which Sr Florencia BS proclaimed the gospel of Lk11:38-42 and Sr. Reshma gave the reflection. Sr Jyotika BS compeered the programme. Sr Precilla D’Souza BS the Superior of the community, welcomed the gathering and inaugurated the BLA along with Sr Shalet D’Souza BS the assistant Novice mistress from Rosa Mystica Novitiate by lighting the diya then congratulated all the members by offering a rose we are happy because 21 members joined for BLA for the first time . Sr Shalet D’Souza the guest, addressed the gathering and spoke about the purpose of BLA. At the end Sr Shareena proposed the vote of thanks to all. Finally we concluded with hymn to Mother Mary.
