The students of Rosa Mystica P U College ventured into a new programme that is to “Reach out the poor.”  At the very beginning of the academic year students were encouraged to make small little sacrifices and save the money and then to share it with the poor children who are in dire need. With the goal “We sacrifice , save and share” the Social Awareness week was introduced.

The students responded quickly and collected stationary articles and toilet articles. On  July 26th  Principal Sr Cecilia D Souza, Staff representatives Mr Amcil Fernandes and Mr Prashanth, office assistant Sr Marini and student representatives handed over the articles to Rev. Fr. Theji Thomas the Director of  Snehasadan Home for the HIV/AIDS. Rev Fr Theji Thomas thanked the Principal and the staff  and appreciated the students  for their thoughtfulness towards the poor.  Thereafter Miss Gopika, the Medical staff of Snehasadan briefed to the students about HIV and AIDS. Students expressed their sentiments of gratitude for availing them such opportunity and they promised that they will continue to do it in the future.
