August 13, 2016 is a historic day in the annals of Bethany Convent, Limboi, Gujarat. Rev. Thomas Macwan the Archbishop ofGandhinagar Diocese, Ahmadabad, blessed the new Convent building and officiated the thanksgiving Eucharistic Celebration. Rev Sr Rose Celine BS the Superior General inaugurated the newly constructed convent building. Rev Sr Cicilia Mendonca BS the Provincial Superior of Mangalore Province unveiled the plaque. Sr ShanthiPriya BS the General Councillor, Sr Roshel BS the Asst Provincial Superior, many priests of the Diocese and other religious congregation, parishioners, well wishes were present and graced the occasion. Sr Regina BS the Superior of the community along with her sisters were congratulated for their witnessing presence, commitment and service to the people of the Diocese and outsiders in the fields of pastoral care, education, community development and social action. Indeed it was a very joyful event.
