The school annual day of  St. Raymond Pre-Primary and Higher Primary School, Vamanjoor  on Wednesday December 13 was celebrated with great zest, vibrancy and elation, at St. Raymond School Ground, here with a medley of events from each class, woven around the theme 'Happy Children Happy World'.The programme commenced with a scintillating welcome dance.Sr. Marie Lyta BS, Correspondent of Bethany Institutes of Bajpe, was the president of the function. The other dignitaries who graced the occasion were Fr. Cyprian Pinto, Parish Priest of St. Joseph the Worker Church, Vamanjoor, Rev. Sr. Agnes Mary BS, Superior,    St. Raymond Convent, Sr.Rita Sharal, Headmistress, Mr. Sachin D’Almeida, PTA Vice President and members of the managing committee.
Correspondent of the school Sr. Sybil BS extended a warm welcome to all the dignitaries present.The Headmistress Sr. Rita Sharal and Assistant Teacher Miss. Pramila Menezes presented the school annual report 2017-18.Sr. Marie Lyta BS in her presidential address appreciated and congratulated the participants. She congratulated the Headmistress and Teachers for taking responsibility.  She has given advice for students to give respect to the teachers and to the parents that they need to take the responsibility of the children at home.Parish Priest Fr. Cyprian Pinto, has informed to the parents to give God experience at home every morning itself. He explained about God Experience through an incident. A cultural bonanza followed. Ebullient students of the school presented an array of cultural programmes with colourful props depicting ‘Happy Children Happy World’. The two–hour long cultural show held the audience in awe and left them enlightened as the show culminated.Students of class 1 adorned in their finery presented ‘Country’, which brought out the essence of culture and traditions,  diversity and rich heritage of the country through a glittering dance and music.Students of Class 2nd show cased inspirational dance on Mother Theresa’s Life and Service to the human kind.

 

 

 

 Students of Class 3rd enlighten on the theme ‘Respect for the Elders’.‘Childhood is greatest and happiest period of the life of everyone, but some children missed their childhood because of Child Labour ’ this was projected by the students of class 4.  ‘Nature is Gift from God and we are part of it. It is our duty to protect the nature and to be eco-friendly’ this theme was presented by the students of Class 5. Aerobic dance is a particular type of workout style performed in a group exercise setting. This helps us, to keep our body fit and healthy. This Aerobic dance was performed by the students of 5th to 7th.Mime was presented on the theme ‘Protect Nature and Our Environment’ by the students of class 5th to 7th was truly amazing act that sent forth a powerful message.Christmas is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a season of Joy, happiness and sharing. Tableau was enacted by the students of class 5th to 7th. Mrs. Laveena Menezes, Assistant Teacher rendered the vote of thanks.The programme was beautifully compeered by Miss. Manjula the assistant teacher, Manasvi and Sherlin Swetha D’Chuna the students.
    All the parents of our students and invited guests enjoyed the programme of St. Raymond Pre-Primary and Higher Primary School.
