Vamanjoor, Mangalore: On 3rd February 2019 the golden Jubilee of religious life of Sr M Maureen BS, Sr M Prescilda BS, Sr M Helency BS, Sr M Lavina BS and Sr M Neeta BS’, and the silver jubilariansSr Anna Maria BS, Sr M Irene Veigas BS, Sr M Vinitha Pereira BS and Sr M Lavita BS. The absence of Sr Wilma BS was felt as she serves in the North East Province.
The celebration was part of the Province assembly. The facilitation programme commenced at 10.30am. The jubilarians were facilitated and applauded for their goodness. The canticle of their yeomen services was sung by the Provincial councillors and the Provincial Superior SrCiicliaMendonca BS greeted them warmly. The jubilarians were greeted on this occasion by all the sisters.
The thanksgiving Eucharist was celebrated by Rev Fr Joseph Cardoza from SJEC. The jubilarians recommitted themselves by renewing their vows. The entire congregation praised God for their gifts to Bethany. Indeed it was a joyful celebration. Everyone felt happy and rejoiced with the silver and golden jubilarians.
