The Province being dedicated to Mother Mary – our Lady of Immaculate Conception, her intercession was sought over the celebration of the day. Rev SrCiciliaMendonca the Provincial Superior in her key note address, called on the Sisters to thank God for his marvelous blessings on the Province. Our role is to be joyful by having personal encounter with the Lord like Moses on Mount Sinai. We are reminded to ponder during this grace filled seasonof Advent by reading the Word of God daily one Chapter, to have positive outlook towards everyone and everything and ask Mother Mary to bless us by praying Rosaries.

After the keynote address Rev Fr Alfred Menezes, the Director of Ryshivana who was the resource person further gave thought provoking message that the knowledge of God brings about total ‘U’turn in our life of commitment and Mission. He stressed on Jer: 1: 4-5, Is: 43:1 and Ps: 139. The highlights were more connected to the address of the Provincial Superior which made us to sink deep into ourselves.

After the talk there was an Eucharistic celebration officiated by Rev Fr Alfred Menezes. In his homily he once again highlighted the theme connecting to the advent season. It is the season to wait for the coming of God in our lives. After the festive meal there was cultural programmecolorfully presented by different communities of the Province.
