Mangalore April 23,2020: Shubadha Society Suralpady through ‘Arise Foundation’ contributed towards the food items for 58 families and 42 individuals belonging to Agriculture Labourers and migrants inparish and Suralpady area.
 
 
 
The food kit contained 5 kg rice, I kg sugar, 2 kg onion, ½ kg Tea powder, ½ kg Dal, ½ Kg Rava, ½ Kg Chana and 1 litre oil. The Homemade masks were distributed to 150 people in Jyothi Nagar slum, Kavoor Mangalore.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Sr Leena Pereira the director of Shubadhacentre took the initiative to contact the Arise Foundation for financial help. Through the guidance of Rev. Fr. Antony Lewis the Parish Priest of St. Xavier Church, Ferar, with the help of Mr Ullas Pinto the Vice President and the ward representative Mrs Anita D’souza, the needy persons were identified and given help. Sr Anna Maria the Social Work coordinator of Mangalore Province, Sr Stephanie and SrHerita helped in this mission.
