Sr M Regis BS (71) nee Mercine Ida Menezes, of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany, Mangalore passed away on Friday May 27, 2016 at Concetta Hospital, Kinnigoli. She is the member of Mother of Mercy Convent, Kirem, Mangalore Province. She hails from Gurpur Kinnikambla, DK and is the daughter of late Mr Antony Augustine and Late Florine D Cunha. She is the sister of Sr Dulcis BS and late Sr Melvice BS. Sr Regis had served Bethany in various capacities has brought light to the lives of children, adults and others through faith formation, pastoral care, compassionate service and value based education.
The funeral cortege leaves at 2.30 pm from Mother of Mercy Convent, Kirem on 28th May 2016. Her funeral rites will take place at 4.15 pm at Our Lady of Remedies Church, Kirem, Aikala.
