"Gratitude is the Memory of the Heart". Bethany Scholarship Beneficiaries’ Day was organized on 15.11.2014 at 2.30 pm at Bethany Provincialate, Vamanjoor under the leadership of Rev. Sr Mariette BS the Provincial Superior of Mangalore Province. 75 students who are benefiting from such provision were present for the programme.
At the outset, Sr Sybil BS the Treasurer, Bethany Educational Society Vamanjoor showed some glimpses of Bethany’s birth, vision, goal and core values through the PowerPoint presentation. Thereafter Sr Mariette BS Provincial Superior and the Corporate Manager of Province Education Society, Vamanjoor in her keynote address said that it was for the first time such a programme was arranged though for several years many students have benefited from the benevolence and goodness of the Congregation. She further said that they have an obligation to study hard and scale high in life. She also reminded them of their responsibility of educating some poor students in the future when they are well placed in life.
Sr Christella BS the Secretary of Province Education Society, Vamanjoor facilitated the common session after the group discussion. She exhorted them to manifest in their lives the core values of Bethany Educational Society.
Sr Therese Sequeira BS the Headmistress St Raymond’s High School, Vamanjoor compered the programme and Master Preetham student of Little Flower PU College, Kinnigoli proposed vote of thanks for the organizers. At the end, refreshments were served for everyone. With grateful hearts, everyone returned to their homes.
