The 41 sisters of Mangalore Province gathered for the provincial Assembly on 6th February 2020 at Vamanjoor. The members were cordially welcomed. Sr Cicilia Mendonca the Provincial superior in her key note address highlighted one aspect of the consecrated life that is “Community life”.   The "community" is a crucial place in life, where life grows and can be fulfilled, because it is a place in which every person learns to receive love and to give love, ways to witness Christ, four pillars of community, Community in our times, and need for renewal. The resource person of the day Rev Fr Alvito OCD highlighted the aspect of personal intimacy with the Lord and to become proclaimers of the word of God. Consecrated life is more of being with the lord and communion with one another. We are set apart to be holy and have sanctification of consecration.
A days outing to St Antony’s Shrine Kerekatte enriched and renewed the spirit of the sisters.
