Mangaluru : The new venture in providing the health care services to the rural mass of Thokkottu near here, in the form of the Homoeo Clinic and Counselling Centre was declared open for service on 1st January 2021. The Inauguration and Blessing of the Divine Mercy Homoeo Clinic & Counselling Centre, located at Sai Grand View building, Kapikad, Thokkottu was held on Friday, at 4.00 p.m.
The Homoeo Clinic and the Counselling Centre was inaugurated by Rev. Sr Cicilia BS, the Provincial Superior of Bethany Mangalore Province. The Blessing of the clinic was carried out by Rev Fr Cyprian Pinto, the Parish Priest of St Sebastian Church, Permannur. It was followed by lighting of the diya by Sr Roshel, Assistant Provincial Superior; Mr Basil DSouza, Ullal Town Panchayat Council Member; Sr Severine Fernandes BS, Superior, Bethel Convent Permannur; Dr. Sr Mable Clara DMello, Homeopathic Counselor. The prayer was led by Rev. Fr Joseph Vanianthara V.C. the director, Divine Prayer Centre, Kerebail, Thokkottu. Mr U. T. Khadar, MLA, Mangalore Constituency; Mrs Chitrakala, President, Ullal Town Panchayat; Mr Ayub Manchila, Vice President Ullal Town Panchayat; Mr Chandrahasa Pandith House, President BJP, Mangalore Zone and Mr Maurice Monteiro, Vice President Parish Council Permannur, were present for the function.
The Provincial Superior congratulated Dr Sr Mable on this new beginning of health care service and honoured her on this occasion. The Chief Guest, MLA U. T. Khadar speaking on the event, stressed the need to give priority to each of the special fields (such as Homoeopathy) and to get maximum benefit out of it. The people of this locality are blessed with the new clinic and will surely reap the benefits for good. He also wished Sr Mable all success in this Medicare centre.
Dr. Sr. Mable Clara D'mello is a graduate in B.H.M.S and pursued her M.D from FMHI from Mangaluru.
Sr. Severine the Superior of Bethel Convent welcomed the gathering. Dr. Sr. Mable thanked all gathered for the event. The Homoeo Clinic and Counselling Centre will be an asset to the neighbouring locality, which can help to build community and bring graces and joy in the lives of everyone.
