Independence day was celebrated at Bethany Convent School, Limboi, Gujarat with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on 15th August, 2021 in the school ground with the staff, students and parents to mark the 75th year of freedom from the British rule. On this special occasion, the programme started with flag hoisting by Sr Smita Chauhan the chief guest, Sr Jyothika, the principal, Sr Arun, the manager, Fr Nelson and Fr Roydon. The chief guest addressed the gathering appealing their nationalistic spirit and urging them to take pride in being an Indian and fulfilling one's duty with responsibility. This was followed by a musical rendition by the school choir whitch sang patriotic songs that awakened everyone's feelings towards motherland. Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
