Constitution is not a mere lawyer’s document, it is a vehicle of Life, and its spirit is always the spirit of Age.”
B.R. Ambedkar

Bethany School Mulki celebrated ‘Samvidhan Diwas’ commemorating the adoption of the Constitution in India when in 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India formally adopted the Constitution of India that came into force on January 26, 1950. A special assembly was held. Students took a special pledge. The day was also celebrated as a tribute to India’s first Law Minister BR Ambedkar, who played a pivotal role in drafting the Indian Constitution. An important part of the celebrations was the reading of the Preamble and reaffirming our commitment to uphold it.

As a part of the celebrations, our School planned innovative activities to highlight and reiterate the values and principles enshrined in the constitution.
Teachers and students presented their thoughts on his contribution and on the importance of the Constitution.
Sanvi Student of class IV spoke about the values and fundamental principles of our constitution. Sr Rita Sharal, the headmistress in her key note explained the enduring and invaluable rights and duties of citizens as envisioned by our founding fathers.

The day served as a reminder to live by and promote these timeless values in our community.
