The 148th birth anniversary of Raymond Francis Camillus Mascarenhas was celebrated in Bethany English Medium Hr. Pry School Kilpady on 21st of January. We had a prayer service on account of Raymond’s birth anniversary. Our headmistress Sr Rita Sharal ,our teaching and nonteaching staff and all the students were gathered in the auditorium for the same. We had introduction on the occasion .We then pleaded Gods manifold blessings on our founder to be raised to the honors of the altar as we all attune to a prayer dance by our students .The children were learnt our founders sayings expressed them with love and vigor .We then learnt the virtues of founder as it was beautifully explained with the symbol lighted candle.
The light that was shown in the darkness, self- scarifying spirit, loving heart and life giving spirit for the poor. Prayed through his intercession to cultivate founder’s good virtues in our life and honored him by enacting his life story. We had decorated our hall and founder’s statue with garland and flowers. Celebrated the special Eucharistic mass along with the students, teachers of our Mulki campus, sisters of Madeleine convent, the Bethany lay associates parents of our students and the Parishioners of Immaculate Conception Church Mulki, in the Immaculate Conception Church Mulki. The students were happy to celebrate this event with love and honor for the founder.
