Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation ( CRP ) awareness training programme was held in Sacred Hearts’ , Kulshekar for the faculty on 08.02.2023. The training programme was conceptualized and initiated by Dr Anupama M, Dr Nayanthara A K, Dr Priyanka A S, Dr Pratik Kumar chatterjee – Professors. KMC, Mangaluru.
The broad objective of the training was displayed. The trainers insisted the need of CCC and CAB to resuscitate a person who collapsed due to sudden Cardiac arrest and other medical emergencies. The entire procedure of CPR was demonstrated by compressing the ‘manikins’ at right position and posture by dividing the participants into 4 groups. At the closure of the session, the participants were evaluated using simple questionnaires. The staff gained the knowledge on CPR and were confident to do CPR in case of emergency.
