Christmas is for joy, for giving and sharing, for laughter, for coming together with family and friends. It was surely a Christmas to remember at Bethany English Medium Higher Primary School. The school wore a festive look with bells, streamers and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Several activities such as Jingle bells and Santa's mask, Preparing Christmas Tree, making Christmas Cards Stars were organized for the students. The children were told about the birth of Lord Jesus and the legend of Santa Claus. The spirit of giving and sharing was inculcated among the tiny tots. .The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was amply visible on the faces of the children especially when Santa moved around distributing sweets to them. The delightful celebration included children coming in red and white colour party dress. The whole program was organised by the students of class 2nd and 3rd. They put up a beautiful program with dance, Carol's and Christmas tablo. Students enjoyed the Christmas celebration.

We the staff and non-teaching staff of Bethany School and Madeline college came together to celebrate the Christmas. We shared the joy of Christmas through Carlos and exchange of gifts to each other. Sr Cicilia superior of Mother of Mercy convent Kirem spoke about the importance of the Christmas. Sr Rita Sharal, the Headmistress of Bethany School and Sr Veena, the Principal of Madeline college was present for the same. Indeed it was a memorable day to all of us.
