The esteemed Annual Occasion of St. Raymond's PU College Ray-Utsav 2023 was held on 23 November 2023 marking a momentous day in the academic calendar.
The programme began when the College band welcomed the dignitaries and accompanied them towards the auditorium. This was followed by a divine prayer song led by the College Choir. The programme was delightedly blessed with the meaningful words of the President of the program Rev. Dr. Sr. Lilly Pereira, Provincial Councillor. She appreciated the strenuous efforts of Principal, staff and students for unfurling the talents of Students in various activities. he also encouraged them to make the best use of their time at St Raymond's College and grow up to be proud Raymondsian.
S Rev. Fr. Kenneth Rayner Crasta, Assistant Director, St. Joseph Engineering College blessed the occasion through his blissful words. Mr. Walter Nandalike, Managing Director, Daijiworld Media Pvt. Ltd. Chief Guest of the day insisted the Students not to hide their abilities and be aware of inner strength given to them by God to fulfill their passion. The Annual Report displayed the laurels, academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities of students and faculty during the academic year.
Felicitation and distribution of merits were presented in due acknowledgement to the students and faculty for the exemplary performance in different academic pursuits. Sr. Shubha BS, Coordinator for Educational Apostolate, Mangalore Province and Correspondent, St. Raymond's P U College was felicitated for her exceptional Contribution towards the Institutions. Sr. Vithalis, Superior, St. Raymond's Convent, Sr. Anita Lydia, Principal, St. Raymond's PU College and Mrs. Jayalakshmi, PTA Treasurer were present on the dais. The cultural programs were a tapestry of talent, weaving together mesmerizing performances in dance, music, and drama.
The auditorium echoed with applause, underscoring the collective appreciation for the artistic endeavors on display. Programme was successful with the strong guidance and motivation of Sr. Anita Lydia BS, Principal, St. Raymond's PU College. Mrs. Savitha Menezes welcomed the gathering. Ms. Radha proposed the vote of thanks. Mrs. Riyona and Mr. Ravi Chandra compered the program.
