" Behind our dark moods and secret longings among cobwebs of fear and doubt, are surprises waiting to happen- Surprises that can sustain enthusiasm and hope". The truth about each of us is more comforting and simpler than we imagine. It was the same feeling when we started this new mission in Mankroda - Bhiloda, Gujarat. Bhiloda is the cradle of the Sabarkantha Mission that developed to the South with the formation of Nanakantharia Parish. Here the Jesuit Province established Gujarati Medium School which is now at the Higher Secondary level.
As our presence is appreciated at Vadgam, today Bethany is proud to spread its wings towards the new mission at Bhiloda to work for the uplift of the Adhivasis in collaboration with Jesuits in running the St Xavier's English Medium School which is the off- shoot of St Xavier's Gujarati Medium Higher Secondary School.
Since our mission is at its infancy we build our rapport with the students and parents by our pastoral visit which has become signs of hope for the future. We provide ample opportunities for the overall development of the students. People appreciate and are happy with our presence and our mission. So we hope for the better tomorrow of the Students which will enable them to become the light house of the Adhivasi Society.
We express our gratitude to Sr Mariette our Provincial Superior who initiated and determined to begin this mission with vision. We thank the management who always support us and Students-Parents who cooperate with us.
