The girl child is a pride and the future of the Nation. Empowering a girl child means empowering the future. Little girls with the dreams become women with vision. On 23rd of February a day is set apart for the lovely girl child of St Raymond English Medium School, Vamanjoor. Dr Sandra Sunitha Lobo associate professor and Head, Department of psychology, School of Social Work, Roshani Nilaya Mangalore was a chief guest and the resource person of the day.
She addressed the students on friendship, good touch and bad touch, use of social media and growing up to be emotionally strong empowered women. The activity based program has reached all students and appreciated by everyone. Sr lavita the Headmistress welcomed and Mrs Anitha the Counselor of the school spoke few words on the girl child and introduce the resource person. Sr Flavita anchored the program and Mrs Shobhita proposed vote of thanks.
