It was indeed a golden letter day in the life of 40 students who studied at St. Joseph's Primary Kannada Medium School, Sagar as after a gap of 38 years they all got together to felicitate - the teachers who taught them and also to have the Alumni’s meet.

Sr. Pascalia BS and Sr. Wilma BS were the two specially chosen persons, whom the student coordination committee chose to felicitate and thank for the immense effort they put during the student life of these students.

Karnataka Vidhanasabha Speaker Shri. Kagod Thimmappa while gracing the occasion lauded this noble gesture of students and wished that this heritage of our culture inspire many more students to recognize the services of their respective teachers. He also offered shawls, flowers and mementos to the sisters.

Grand lunch was organized. During the functions students introduced themselves and offered to be of some help to one another.

Speaking on the occasion Sr Pascalia BS was overwhelmed as she never expected that her students would recognize her services rendered some 38 years ago. She felt proud that some of her students have become KAS officers, CA, doctors, Lawyers, senior officers in the Government all over the country.

- Mr. Wilfred, Delhi (former student)
