Bethany English Medium Higher Primary School, Kilpady, Mulki launched the Social Awareness Week on 18th September 2015. Sr Anitha Tressy inaugurated the week by displaying the video clippings and action songs on the need of helping the poor and the needy. The little ones showed their eagerness to sacrifice and to collect things which could be shared with the poor. They were able to gather rice, fruits, dress, coconuts, soaps, tooth paste, pen, pencil, books and money. On 16th October 2015, 25 students and the staff went to Chinnara Thanugudhana near Kapikad, Mangalore and distributed things to the children. The students had the satisfaction of sharing things with the needy children the poorest of the society. This activity developed in them the spirit of sacrifice and love for the poor.
