‘Are you scared or afraid? As human beings we are faced with fears and doubts. If you place yourself in the hands of God, He takes care of all our fears. So cast your burdens unto God ‘said Rev Sr Cicilia Mendonca, the Provincial of Mangalore Province addressing BLA members.
BLA Meet was organized at Sacred Heart High School, Kulshekar auditorium on Jan 15, 2020. Around 200 members from 24 BLA units took part in the half day meeting.
Rev Fr Vijay Machado, the speaker of the day stressed upon Prayer-reading the word of God daily and praying with it; togetherness and Mission. These three points keep our families knit together. He added that all should be aware that we are working for the kingdom of God. Wherever we are we belong to God and involved in His mission.
Prayer was conducted by the Puttur Unit who enthralled the audience back to the Foundation days and Founders Missionary zeal through the power point. Students of St Joseph Higher Pry School, Kulshekar welcomed the gathering with a lively dance.
Members of Ranipura unit under the leadership of Sr Meena displayed a thought provoking skit on finding Jesus in the needy and lost.
Sr Shubha in charge of Pastoral apostolate took pains to arrange the BLA Annual Meet at Kulshekar. She also evaluated the action plan of the last year and made the action plan for the year 2020 based on the input session.
