St. Raymond's PU College, Vamanjoor The Closing Ceremony of Annual Special NSS Camp of St. Raymond's PU College, Vamanjoor was held at Amruthlalji School, Kelarai, Neermarga on 19 October 2023. Rev. Sr. Shubha B.S, Coordinator for Educational Apostolate, Mangalore Province and Correspondent, St. Raymond's P U College presided over the function.
In her presidential address, she congratulated the Principal, NSS Program Officer and the entire faculty Coordinators for successfully organizing the camp and imparting the significance of 'Seva' amongst the volunteers. She motivated the volunteers to utilize the knowledge gained towards serving the nation and congratulated all the Students for their remarkable involvement, hard work in the camp. Rev. Fr. Joseph Mascharenhas, Parish Priest, St. Ann's Church, Kelarai blessed the NSS volunteers through his radiant words. Mr. Santhosh D'Costa, Vice President, Parish Pastoral Council, Mrs. Celine D'Mello, Secretary, Parish Pastoral Council and President, Neermarga Co-Operative Society, Mrs. Benedicta Mascarenhas, CEO, Neermarga Co-Operative Society, Rev. Sr. Shanthi Ancilla Pereira, Correspondent, Amruthlalji School And Superior, Fathima Convent, Kelarai were the chief guests of the day. All the chief guests admired the service of NSS unit which will give opportunities to students in the community development service programs and enable them to get experience by exposure to the life outside educational institution.
Rev. Sr. Anita Lydia, Principal, St. Raymond’s PU College and Director of the NSS annual camp delivered the concluding remarks. Mrs. Savitha Menezes, Lecturer in Economics welcomed the gathering. The program was compered by Mrs Lidwin Crasta, Lecturer in Commerce. Mr Jayaram, NSS Program Officer, proposed the vote of thanks. The Annual NSS camp was successful with the support and guidance of Sr. Anita Lydia, Principal, Mr Jayaram, NSS Program Officer, all the faculty members, Students, Alumni, PTA members, Donors and wellwishers .
