To raise global awareness among students and protect nature, the NSS unit students of St. Raymond's PU College celebrated vanamahotsav day on 31st July 2023. Principal of the college Sr. Anita Lydia motivated the students by planting a mango sapling herself in the college campus. She addressed the students on the occasion and said you are sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree long time ago. So as to you must not only plant a tree but also take good care of it so that the future generation may reap the benefits.
Planting trees in the college campus not only beautifies the surroundings but also provides a conducive learning environment. Hence the staff and the students together planted saplings of various fruits in the college campus
