“We don’t stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing”- George Bernard Shaw. With the aim to nurture student’s creativity, a Fancy Dress Competition was organized at Bethany English Medium Higher Primary School, Mulki on 05 August, 2023.The purpose of conducting the competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the students by giving them an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of their own classmates. The students participated in huge numbers and showcased their versatility.
There was variety and creativity in the students' acting, they acted as farmers, saving the earth, trees, water, saving girl child, donating blood, the animals, queen, actress etc. The children dressed as freedom fighters and soldiers were brilliant in their own way. They were all smartly dressed up and took part with much enthusiasm. The students presented themselves by sharing information about the characters they depicted. They all looked vibrant in their colorful and different costumes and played their parts confidently. What matters most in such events is not winning or losing, but participation. All the Children felt very happy.
